Our holiday camps provide a great add-on to our membership and other programme offerings. We’ve been running them for so long that our some of our senior players not only attended them as a child, but still help coach them. The camps are run by our club coaches who are regularly in attendance at junior age group sessions. Lead coaches are all ECB qualified, DBS registered and Safeguarding certified as well as being first aid trained. During the camps we offer parents early morning drop-off. Sometimes rain does stop play but whenever we can, we continue with indoor activities. Members and non-members are welcome to our Summer camps.

Camp notes

Thank you for booking your child into Oxford Cricket Club Camps! Here is some useful information:

Your child should bring a packed lunch with them each day for full day bookings, preferably nut free and a drink and suitable clothing and footwear for an active day at the camp

• Oxford CC have a water fountain which can be used

• All clothing should be name tagged. This is appropriate to the season and weather. In summer, for example, we would expect each child to have correct sun protection (sun hat and sunscreen) and a warm top/tracksuit.

• Boys aged 10 and over or wanting to try hardball cricket will need to bring an abdominal protector (cricket box). The club has some batting equipment that can be used.

• Otherwise, if children wish to bring their own cricket kit/equipment, they are free to do so but Oxford CC takes no responsibility for loss or damage, all other equipment required for the daily activities is provided by Oxford CC.

• We recommend that expensive items such as jewellery, computer games, and mobile phones should be left at home, as we cannot be held responsible any for loss or damage.

• If contact is essential, it can be made by parent/guardian to the coach who will provide a number at drop‐off. Similarly, please ensure we have up to date details of your own Emergency Contact Number.

• Wet weather – As a contingency arrangement for severe wet weather we have limited space provision for indoor activity. In the event that an indoor day looks likely then we may contact you to offer an exchange of days if you would prefer.

We look forward to welcoming you to Oxford Cricket Club where the coaching will meet you for registration in front of the pavilion at Jordan Hill Sports Ground (If it is raining this may be inside but a coach will be around to direct).
